Challenge:

How to get guests from one slide to the next in their journey down the world’s tallest water slide tower. 

Creative Solution:

With the goal of impressing not just in the Middle East but in the entire world, Meryal Waterpark set out to build the tallest water park tower in the world at 85 meters, launching a record-breaking 12 water slides from varying heights. To facilitate seamless transfers of guests between rides, two water-filled stainless-steel transition tubs were created just for the insanely high structure. 

This design enables guests to “choose their own adventure,” where they can leisurely navigate from the end of one slide onto the conveyor of the next slide of their choosing while remaining in their ride vehicles as they make their way to the bottom. 

As a bonus, while in a transition tub, riders get to take in fabulous panoramic views from the Icon Tower while rounding the 90-degree corner to get to the next ride.
