Immersing Guests in the World of SpongeBob

August 21, 2024

Challenge:

How to bring guests into the world of SpongeBob SquarePants through aquatic play and reflect the Nickelodeon brand at the same time.

Creative Solution:

WhiteWater’s in-house artisans created colourful elements of Bikini Bottom Beach to incorporate in and around the RainFortress. Sculptures such as jellyfish, an anchor, the Moai that is Squidward Tentacles’ house, SpongeBob’s pineapple house, and all the lovable characters from the show decorate the structure and its 100+ water features.

To remind everyone that Aqua Nick is named after Nickelodeon, and Nickelodeon is famous for its green slime, this RainFortress periodically drenches guests in green water, in place of the giant tipping bucket. This design is one of its kind in the world, with separate tanks used to hold regular chlorinated water and the green water. Not to worry; this coloured water is formulated not to stain clothes.

The result is a uniquely Nickelodeon prank that will be etched in the memory of the guests.
